After working at Flach Pyramide and Pan Européenne, where she was in charge of sales & international co-productions, Emilie GEORGES founded Memento Films Distribution and Production with Alexandre Mallet-Guy, in 2003. Launched at the 2005 Cannes Festival with "Kilometer Zero", by Hiner SALEEM, which was presented in Competition, Memento Films International, of which she is CEO, has led her to accompany and defend selective, high-profile, director driven cinema by internationally respected directors: "Still Life" by JIA Zhang-ke (Golden Lion, Venice 2006); "Wonderful Town" by Aditya ASSARAT (Tiger Awards, Rotterdam 2008); "The Class" by Laurent CANTET (Golden Palm, Cannes 2008); "A Separation" by Asghar FARHADI (Golden Bear, Silver Bear Best Male & Female Acting Ensemble, Berlinale 2011 – Academy Award for Best Foreign film 2012 - César Award for Best Foreign Film 2012); "The Past" by Asghar FARHADI (Best Actress, Cannes 2013 / Bérénice Béjo); "ILO ILO" by Anthony CHEN (Best First Film, Camera d'Or prize, Cannes 2013); "Winter Sleep" by Nuri Bilge CEYLAN (Palme d'Or, Cannes 2014), "Still Alice" by Wash WESTMORELAND & Richard GLATZER – Academy Award for Best Actress 2015 / Julianne MOORE. She has been co-president of ADEF, the association of French sales agents, since 2009. She produces through her own production company, La Cinéfacture. She also has joined Talents Tokyo as an expert of Next Masters Tokyo 2010 where she met Anthony CHEN. Recently she received the medal of Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
