FAQ 1: (April 27, 2016)
B) Application
Part 2: Submit a sample of work
2.1 For Directors:
Q1:
What importance does have the sample videos (or report)?
A1:
The reviewing sample video or reading the report is the most important process for the selection.
Probably, would say, it is the essential for the selection.
Q2:
The video must have 15 minutes?
A2:
TT asks you a sample of maximum duration of 15 minutes and not minimum duration.
15 minutes of length is not obligation.
IMPORTANT: However, please consider carefully for the following before the submission: the sample is the only material that the selection committee can judge the filmmaking sense and potential of an applicant.
We can only say from past experience: it is difficult to judge the samples with 30 seconds, 1 or 3 minutes long. And these short samples tend to obtain lower evaluation than the other applicants who send the samples of longer duration.
Q3:
Is it necessary that a sample is recent work? Or can I submit a sample of few years ago?
A3:
There is no problem that the video sample was produced few years ago.
But if you have submitted to TT previous years, it means all the selection committee members have watched your sample video already.

Q2:

A2:
YES, absolutely necessary.
If the film has subtitles to understand the dialogues in English, we do not require the level of accuracy.
Q3:
I want to register the program b), and my film is in post-production.
If I get this Fund, I can use the support money for the improvement of post-production?

Not at all.
The program is intended only for promotion.
You can only apply complete or nearly complete films.
In any way, the use of fund should not be for post-production.
